Bobby R. Burnett
Bobby R. Burnett, age 65, of Glenwood, died, Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was born on January 15, 1947 in Hot Springs, the son of James Matthew Burnett and Lola Mae Bates Burnett. On April 30, 1980, he married Bessie House. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Roberta Gail Burnett; his sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Norman Weise; and one niece, Tina Kipp. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a victim of Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was employed by the United States Postal Service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed greatly and remembered as a hero! He is survived by his wife Bessie Burnett of Glenwood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Amy Burnett of Glenwood and Raymond and Keri Burnett of Monticello; one daughter, Monica Burnett of Glenwood; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Linda Burnett of Hot Springs; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Nancy Burnett of Hot Springs and Wanda and Elbert Sanders of Port Angeles, Washington; one grandchild, Nicholas Burnett of Glenwood; many nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with President Kimball Palmer officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Sunday afternoon. Interment will be at Lowe Cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Thaddeus H.
