Jason Paul Dickey, 19, of Boscawen died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Jason was born in Malden, MA on October 21, 1997 to Paul and Martha (Arsenault) Dickey. He was a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School Class of 2016 and was a valued team member at Market Basket on Fort Eddy Road in Concord.
Jason possessed a heart of the truest gold and a smile that could light up any room. A hug from Jason was like no other; his hugs were the tightest and fullest of love. He had a deep appreciation of music and nice cars, and an unparalleled sense of fashion. Jason knew the value of dressing not for where you are, but for where you want to go.
In addition to his loving parents Jason is survived his cherished siblings, brother Garrett "Gee" Cassidy and wife Kimmy, and sisters Kaitlyn "KK" and Ryan "Sissy" Cassidy. He was the much-loved nephew of Cheryl and James McGonagle and the "heart nephew" to so many of his parents' friends; caring uncle to Haileigh, Jason, Kaira, Philip, and Rey-Leigh; and dear friend of Kelly, Haley, Andrew, Tommy, and countless others. He also leaves behind Garrett "Pop Pop" Cassidy, with whom he had a very special bond, as well as numerous cousins and other extended family. Jason was predeceased by his beloved maternal grandparents Emily Arsenault and John Blaikie and paternal grandparents Richard and Kathaleen (Honey) Dickey. The emptiness left by Jason's passing will be felt by all whose lives he touched, and he will be greatly missed by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Jason's life on Monday, September 18th 11:00am-2:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Jason will be laid to rest immediately following at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
