Jeanne T. Roux
Jeanne T. (Forcier) Roux, 97, of Auburn, died July 14, 2017 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born in St. Elizabeth, Quebec, Canada on July 13, 1920 to Roland and Elise (Lafond) Forcier. She lived in Manchester for most of her life before moving to Auburn in 2011.
Jeanne had worked at Velcro USA and several other Manchester area mills. She often attended services at the Precious Blood Monastery and had made a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.
Her family was the center of her life and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Jeanne will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always maintained a strong Catholic faith and was a role model for all of her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar T. Roux, in 1986 and by nine siblings, Cecile Venchiarutti, Anna Caron, Marthe Forcier, Marianne Richard, Irene Lafond, Br. Ludger Forcier, Br. Eudore Forcier, Nazaire Forcier and Ephrem Forcier.
The family includes her daughter, Denise Charbonneau and her husband, David, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Derek Charbonneau, Kyle Charbonneau and his fiancé, Arianne Beaudoin-Helik and Cody Charbonneau; a sister, Sr. Blanche Forcier of Nicolet, Quebec, Canada and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
