Sharon M. Pepper CANANDAIGUA - Sharon Pepper, a longtime Canandaigua resident, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2016, in the emergency department at Thompson Health. A graduate of Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, Sharon served as an administrator at the Bethany Center in Horseheads and as executive director of Groton Community Health Care Center in Ithaca. She joined Thompson Health in 1991 and was the senior vice president of long term care overseeing M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, Brighter Day, Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows. Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Pepper; sister, Constance (Danna Malley) Mahool; and niece, Nicole Mahool. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at First United Methodist Church, 100 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
