Virginia L. Snow, 80, of Pittsburg, Kansas died at 8:20 P.M. Monday, September 10, 2018 at Freeman Hospital at Joplin, Missouri. Mrs. Snow was born July 5, 1938 at Roseland, Kansas the daughter of Victor and Mary Wadino Palumbo. Virginia was a homemaker. She was raised in Roseland and graduated from West Mineral High School. She lived in Scammon prior to moving to Pittsburg in 1992. She married Robert T. Snow on October 20, 1956 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Scammon, Kansas. Mr. Snow preceded her in death July 5, 2012. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. Survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Bart) Maransani of Arma, three sons, Kenny Snow of Louisville, Kentucky, Brad (Tara) Snow of Pittsburg, and Mike (Jenny) Snow of Frontenac, six grandchildren, Aaron Snow, Maggie Niederklein, Morgan Maransani, Annie Snow, Mallory Snow, and Carter Snow. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, and a brother, Frank Palumbo. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 A.M. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg with Father Gabe Greer and Father Clay Kimbro as co-celebrants. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. Rosary will be said at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where the family will receive friends until 8 P.M. following the rosary. Friends may call 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. Wednesday at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma. The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Association. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
