BAKER, Tod Tod Atkins Baker, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, widower of Patricia Baker, died March 14, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on February 27, 1929 in Aniston, Alabama, the son of the late Robert Erwin Baker, Sr. and Belle McColl Atkins Baker. Mr. Baker was a Political Science Professor at the Citadel and a member of the Church of the Holy Cross on Sullivan's Island. He enjoyed volunteering for East Cooper Meals on Wheels, Kyros and Crisis Ministries. He is survived by his children: William Logan Caldwell of Kingwood, TX; Robert Ingram Caldwell of Danville, KY; Richard Aylette Caldwell of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; Patrick Clemens Caldwell of Kailua, HI and Elizabeth Caldwell Stamps of Danville, KY; a brother: Robert Erwin Baker, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA; niece: Imogene Konvalinka of Chattanooga, TN; two nephews: Bobby Baker of Lake Charles, LA and John Fletcher Baker of Baton Rouge, LA; grandnieces and nephews: Robert Erwin Baker III, John Tod Baker; John Patrick Konvalinka, Kathleen Baker Konvalinka, William Lawson Konvalinka, Virginia Fletcher Konvalinka, Kay Baker and John Fletcher Baker, Jr. On Friday, March 18, 2005 from 5-8PM there will be a visitation held at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL, at 7PM there will be a Vigil which will include a service of remembrance where family and friends are invited to share personal remembrances or eulogies. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, March 19 th at the Church of the Holy Cross, 2520 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island. A reception will follow at the church. Interment will be held at 2:30PM at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to any of the following: Meals on Wheels East Cooper, PO Box 583, Mt.
