Thomas Walter Burt Jr.
Thomas "Tommy" Walter Burt Jr., born July 6, 1951, passed away on June 30, 2018 after a brief, hard battle with cancer. "He now rests in the hands of Jesus free from pain and suffering." He is survived by his mother, Virginia Hartley, of Mineral, Virginia; his two sisters, Debra Wollett, of Mineral, and Virginia Howard, of Annapolis, Maryland; his beloved pets, two dogs, Lady Bug and Bailey, and his cat, Sweet Thing. He also leaves behind his best friend, Rick Lawson, and other friends He was born in Richmond, Virginia, but spent the last 20 years living in Mineral, Virginia. Previously, he had lived and worked in various locations across the country from California to Virginia. He liked to fish, play pool and bowl. He won several awards in pool and bowling. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, golf and SCI FI. He was a tender-hearted person and will be missed by those who loved him.
