THOMAS ALOYSIUIS McGARRITY III
McGARRITY THOMAS ALOYSIUIS, III A long time resident of Blue Bell, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Born March 20, 1939 in Philadel-phia PA, he was the son of the late Thomas, Jr. and Hilda (nee Ross) and the loving husband of Sandra A. McGarrity (nee Ashmore), with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Thomas was the devoted father of Lisa M. Kelly (Brian), Thomas A. IV (Marie), Christopher G., and Andrew K. (Susan) and the grandfather of 8. He is also survived by his brother, John Jeffrey (Carol) and 4 nieces and nephews. Thomas was a proud graduate of Roman Catholic High School and Temple University. He was a member of St. Helena's Church in Blue Bell. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Thomas' Life Celebration Saturday, September 8, from 9 to 10:30 A.M., at BOYD-HORROX-GIVNISH FUNERAL HOME OF EAST NORRITON, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown PA, 610-277-7000. His Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 A.M. at St. Helena's Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell PA. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum.
