Shulena Shuqwan Weldon, 36, entered eternal life on August 9, 2012 as the result of being struck by a vehicle in the City of Harrisburg. Educated at Jenks High School, Jenks, Oklahoma, and Harrisburg Area Community College, she was employed by Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center. As a member of Emanuel COGIC, she attended Sunday School and sang on the choir. Among those things Shulena enjoyed and valued were praying, volunteer service with PinnacleHealth, ballet and loving others. She was predeceased by grandparents, Mable Ingram, Ophie Weldon Sr. and James Moore. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Destiny and Robert Brown; father, Bryan Johnson; siblings, twin sister-Shulene Williams (Greg), Brykisha Scott (Bryan), Bryan Weldon and Shaina Carter (David); step-siblings, Sheria, Timothy, Robert and Jeremiah Brown; paternal grandmother, Beverly Johnson; step-grandfather, Jimmy Ingram; godparents, Bishop David M. Screven and Mother Screven, Willa Mae and Gilbert Barbee, Margorie and John Thompson, D.D.O., Janice Bowers and Alease Easter. Shulena's life will be celebrated at Noon, today, Thursday, August 16th, at her church, 601 N. 16th Street, Harrisburg, with viewing from 11 a.m. to Noon and interment at Paxtang Cemetery.
