Sarah Francis (Briag) Fields
Sarah Francis Fields, 99, Mineral Wells, Texas, formerly of Emerson, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at her home in Mineral Wells. Sarah was born June 17, 1919, in Springfield, Mo., the daughter of John and Arabella (Poe) Briag. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Norman Fields; and one grandson. Survivors include her son, Bob Fields of Harlan; daughter: Diana Warren of Mineral Wells; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren;. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the Emerson United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Emerson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Macular Degeneration Foundation. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
