Robert W. Clark Robert W. Clark, 71, died on Dec. 18, 2018, at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. Born in Rochester, he was a graduate of Brockport High School, class of 1965, and attended Monroe Community College. Robert served in the U.S. Army as a military police dog handler in Vietnam. He later attended Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in computer information technology in 1991. While working as a systems analyst for Electronic Data Systems, he was very active in volunteer work. He served as a mentor for middle school students in the Rochester area and chaperoned social activities for Monroe Developmental Center. He also worked as a volunteer for the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall and supported the computer database which helped veterans and families of veterans make connections with each other. Bob loved the outdoors and loved to hike "Clark's Hill" in Bristol as well as the beaches of Hilton Head Island, S.C. It was even more special when he was able to hike with his grandchildren. Bob worked as a systems analyst for the town of Hilton Head Island and retired from there in 2013. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Drayn Clark; son, Jeremy (Tami) Clark; daughter, Brynne (Jason) Clark; son, Ryan (Heather) Clark; grandchildren, Cassidy, Gavin, Ashtynn, William and Thomas Clark; brother, Patrick (Kathy) Clark; sister, Sharon (Tom) Aten; sister, Sandra (Mike) Dodge; brother, Alex Hughes; sister-in-law, Lorraine Reed; brother-in-law, Robert (Stephanie) Drayn Jr.; best friend, Randy Humphries; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; andspecial companion, Bella. Friends may call on Saturday, January 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, where funeral services will be held following visitation at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A gathering to celebrate Bob's life will be held in the summber of 2019 at Clark's Hill, Bristol, at a date and time to be determined. The family respectfully requests the courtesy of no flowers and memorial contributions may be directed to a local animal shelter or a charity of one's choice.
