Robert E. "Gene" Arnold
Robert E. "Gene" Arnold, 62, of St. Augustine, formally of Jacksonville, passed away on Tues. Sept. 4, 2018. Surviving is his wife of 29 years Susan Arnold and their children, Sterling Arnold of St. Augustine, Heather Cumbo of Jacksonville, Kristin Baker (Wesley) of Cairo, Ga. and Michael Johnson (Carmen) of Atlanta, Ga. They have a total of nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his father Chester Arnold, Jacksonville, his mother Martha Arnold has passed. He is also survived by his sisters Sondra Cassady and her husband Tim of Jacksonville, and Teena Weinberg and her husband Isaiah of N.C. His sister Dana Dalton is deceased. He enjoyed fishing, camping, feeding the deer at his home in N.C. and traveling. If he wasn't fishing he was always talking about it or going down to the boat ramp at Vilano Beach just to see everyone. His charities are Ocean Reef Conservation Association Inc. of Key Largo or ASPCA. He was a husband, a father, a brother, a son, a PaPa, a buddy, a friend to others and sometimes a pain in the ass, but we all loved him with all our hearts. Gene had many friends and family and he will be missed by all. Arrangements made by Affordable Cremation Solutions of Jacksonville, FL 32211. A Private Service will be held on September 15.
