In memory of
Rita Theresa Estes
1989-2018 Rita Theresa Estes was unlike any other soul. Anyone who met her was instantly captivated by her charismatic personality, iconic sense of humor, and generous character. Sadly, she left this world in her home on August 21, 2018 at the age of 29. Born on June 13, 1989, Rita was the youngest child of Joe and Priscilla Caso. She was the center of their universe, not only because she was the baby of the family but also because she was constantly radiating love and humor. She grew up with many close friends and extended family nearby and even though most people's circles grow smaller as they get older, Rita's inner circle only grew with each passing year. Rita met Matt Estes in 2013 and they quickly fell in love. They seamlessly fit into each other's lives like two missing puzzle pieces. Friends and family always anticipated their parties, trips, and even Rita's notorious "#MyMatt" posts. They officially married on September 16, 2017 surrounded by their loved ones. Most importantly, Rita truly lived a life of service. Whether it was cooking Sunday dinners with her family, being a great aunt to her nieces and nephews, traveling with her husband for work, or simply making you smile on a bad day, you always knew you could count on her. There's no doubt though, her sense of humor and ability to always simply be herself was unmatched. The way she could make you cry laughing with a quick witted joke are the moments that we'll all remember most. Her favorite days were spent with family and friends eating and laughing around her dinner table. Rita is survived by her husband Matt; her father Joseph, mother Priscilla, brother Michael, sister Cara, and dog CC - aka "Nana". She was preceded in death by her grandfather Joseph Caso, grandfather Ruben Lao, and grandmother Rita Lao. It's hard to imagine that Rita will no longer be here to take care of us or make us laugh. Her bigger than life personality will be sorely missed in all of our lives and although the world is not as bright as it once was with her in it, all those that were lucky enough to know her have now gained a beautiful angel to look up to. "Rest in peace sweet Rita." Please join us for a memorial service for Rita at 10am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 23233 Lyons Ave, Santa Clarita, CA 91321. Aa Celebration of Life follows at The Oaks Club at Valencia, 26550 Heritage View Lane, Valencia, CA 91381.
