MOLINE - Richard W. Snider, 57, Moline, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for their children's education. Richard was born May 4, 1961, in Galesburg, the son of James and Jane (Leahy) Snider. He married Joanette Montag on Aug. 5, 1989, at Sacred Heart Church in Moline. Richard worked at Coupa Software, where he served as vice president of sales. Richard was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline. He served as a board member of Jr. Pioneer Wrestling Club and was instrumental in starting the Fran Johnson Memorial Tournament. He was also a coach in many of his children's activities. Survivors include his wife, Joanette; children, Allegis (Kyle) Sant, Chicago, and Talia Snider, Anka Snider and Ian Snider, all of Moline; father, James (MaryAnne) Snider, Moline; sisters, Kelly (Ken) Worrell, Wataga, and Seana (Jeff) Massey, Pensacola, Florida; a brother, Jay (Brenda) Snider, Galesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
