Mr. Richard Wayne Kubiak, 72, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Nov. 26, 2017. Richard was born on Sept. 23, 1945 in Newton, NJ, son to the late Walter and Jean Kubiak. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a clinical pharmacist after many dedicated years of service at both the Mass. General Hospital, and Boca Raton Comm. Hospital. Richard loved deep-sea fishing, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family. Richard is survived by his 5 children Jean Drum, David Kubiak, Jonathan Kubiak, Julie Salemme and Joseph Kubiak; 11 grandchildren; his brother Jan Kubiak (Barbara) and their 3 children. Memorial Mass to be held at Our Lady of Grace Church Thursday Feb. 22, 2018 at noon. ( 7095 Waxhaw Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720) Burial services and final resting place will be at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA in April 2018.
