Richard Eugene Radle
SPRING GROVE Richard Eugene Radle, age 70, passed away at home on January 8, 2019. Richard was born in Harrisburg on August 31, 1948 and was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Miriam (Schneider) Radle. He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School and proudly he served his country in the United States Coast Guard during the VietNam War. While serving, he was stationed on the USS Bibb and was honorably discharged. He worked as a master pipefitter for many years prior to retiring. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 520, a life member of VFW Post #7374 in York and a life member of American Legion Post# 109 in Mechanicsburg. He was also a member of Grace Fellowship Church in York New Salem. Richard is survived by his daughters Suzi L. Sipes and her husband Bryan of York and Jami L. Town of Richmond VA; his grandchildren Kate and her husband Ory, Kelsey, Kendall, Daric, Olivia, Jude, Phoenix and Ezri and his great granddaughter Aurora. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Radle and his wife Lynn and his sister Mary Shearer and her husband Bill and nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a memorial service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove, with Rev. Katherine Seiler officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the memorial service from 6-7 pm at the funeral home.
