Reginalda Acosta DeLeon Thermal - On April 23, 2020, the heavens have a new angel among them. Beloved wife of Natividad De Leon Jr. of Thermal, California, a loving mother to Diana De Leon of Indio and Norma De Leon of Riverside. Reginalda had six grandchildren, Stephanie Mendoza of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kathleen Mendoza of Thermal, Jaime Quintero of Indio, Angela De Leon of Riverside, Natalia Quintero of Indio, and Angel De Leon of Riverside. She was also Great Grandmother to Lia and Eli Quintero, children of Jaime Quintero. Reginalda passed away at home in Thermal of natural causes at the age of 85 years. She was married to Natividad for 59 years and loved her life living at her ranch in Thermal. She was born in Chihuahua Mexico on February 7, 1935. She grew up in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico with her parents, Francisco Acosta and Luciana Fragoso. She was the youngest of her family of 7 brothers and sisters and was the last survivor. Reginalda was a resident of the Coachella Valley since 1960 and was involved with Our Lady of Soledad Church in Coachella for many years. She worked alongside her husband in his many businesses, including a gas station, farming, property management, a trucking business, and most importantly, the home executive, family health giver, and a counselor to all. There are no words which can be expressed of how much she will be missed. She was laid to rest on April 27, 2020 in the Coachella Valley Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
