Ray Allen Chatterton age 82 of Austin formerly of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida passed away September 12, 2018 surrounded by family. Ray was born October 17, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lloyd and Vera Chatterton. He grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio where he attended Shaker Schools. Ray was an Air Force Veteran after serving four years and later continued serving our country as a civilian working for a military contractor as a Radar System Group Leader for forty years. Ray is survived by his beautiful loving wife of 57 years, Shirley Eileen Chatterton; daughter, Karen Heisel and husband Neel; son, Allen Chatterton and wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Jayme, Scott, Brandi, Matthew, Chloe, Jillian, Annika, Ian Chatterton, Lydia and Josephine Heisel. Visitation 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Buda, Texas. Interment 1:45 pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. Arrangements by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home South Congress, 2620 S.
