BURLINGTON - Randall Franklin "Randy" Martin, 63, of Patterson Creek Road, Burlington, WV, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Piney Valley Nursing Home, Keyser, WV while under the care of Mountain Hospice. Born on August 30, 1954 at Keyser, WV, he was a son of the late Boyd Franklin and Anna Paulina (Ferrebee) Martin. Mr. Martin was a 1972 graduate of Keyser High School and was employed as a truck driver with both BTC Trucking in Barton, MD and PJ Clem Trucking in Romney, WV. He also was a lifetime member of the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department where he served as both a firefighter and an EMT. Surviving are his wife of nearly 27 years, Lisa E. (Taylor) Martin; two children, Nathan R. Martin of Burlington and Randi E. Shively and husband John of Hazard, KY; two grandsons, Cody and Hunter Martin, both of Burlington and two brothers, David Martin of Burlington and Michael Martin and wife Carry of Romney. At Mr. Martin's request, there will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be conducted at the Arnold Cemetery, Junction, WV, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Denzil Davis and Rev. Wade Sirk officiating. Burlington Volunteer Fire Department, Company 44 will conduct fireman graveside services. Interment will follow. The Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
