RAMESH THAKARAR Larchmont - Ramesh Haridas Thakarar, of Larchmont, passed away January 4, 2019, at age 77. He was born April 13, 1941, in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, to Haridas & Prabhaben Thakarar. He received his Master's in engineering from Drexel University and went on to become a Structural Engineer for the Los Angeles County MTA. An avid reader, Ramesh would read the NY Times from front to back each day and would enjoy doing the Ken Ken daily. He followed the stock market closely and often watched CNBC. Ramesh is best described as a family man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gool, his cherished children, Ajay, Sanjiv (wife, Dr. Allyson Bloom), and Dina, and loving grandchildren, Eva, Audrey and Annika. He is the dear eldest brother of, Kishor, Shashi, Shobha, Chandrika and the late, Atul. To honor Ramesh's life, family and friends will gather on Monday 3-7pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E.
