In memory of
Ralph A. "Ralphy" Gastelum III
Ralph A. Gastelum, III - 65, of Tucson, was called to Heaven peacefully on July 1, 2017, surrounded by his family. Ralph was born in Oxnard, CA and resided in Ventura, CA, where he enjoyed fishing by the Pacific Ocean with his dad. He graduated from Ventura High School where he was Senior Class President, the recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Science Award, a master mathematician, and an accomplished chess player. After a move back to Tucson, AZ, where he met the love of his life, Clarisa, he pursued a career as a carpenter and was a proud member of Tucson's Carpenter's Union. He is survived by his wife Clarisa, son Ralph, three beautiful granddaughters, Jane, Clara and Anika, daughter-in-law Tracey, parents Billie Avilla and Ralph Gastelum, and stepmother Karen. Other survivors include his brother Carlos, sisters Deanna, Jacqui and Mia, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A private celebration of Ralph's life will be held at San Pedro Chapel on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Vaya con Dios, Ralphy. We will miss you (including your best buddies Pete and Mark), and we will always love you. Remember to save a seat for us in "Heaven's Nascar Races".
