Daisy Faye Hezeau
Daisy Faye Hezeau – a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother – was reunited with her beloved Honey on June 8, 2021. Faye was born on February 21, 1942 to the late Statler "Stat" Young, and Mary"Tot" Cupples Young. She was born and raised in Toone, Tennessee and married Lester "Honey" Hezeau and moved to Chalmette, Louisiana where they raised three wonderful Children: Kevin Hezeau Sr., Philip Hezeau, and Sherrie Hezeau Frisard (Andrew "Andy" Frisard). Faye was a phenomenal grandmother of Kevin Hezeau Jr. (Sherry Hezeau), Samantha Frisard Capdeboscq (John Capdeboscq), Taylor Nicole Frisard, and Lauren Hezeau. She was an even better great-grandmother to Mackenzie Hezeau, Maisyn Hezeau, Carson West Capdeboscq, and the future Ande Cait Capdeboscq. Faye was one of 11 siblings and is survived by 3 sisters, Margaret (Deryl) Crawford, Sue Thearp, and Lois (Don) Hyman; 2 brothers Dewey (Pam) Young, and Carey (Louise) Young, along with many nieces and nephews. She was a hardworking, kind, and very loving lady who enjoyed working at the French Market selling sunglasses for over 30 years, even after Honey gained his wings in 2009. Relatives, friends of the family, and fellow vendors at the New Orleans French Market are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell LA 70460 from 9 am - 11 am with the burial to follow. The family would like to express their thankfulness to the Physicians, Nurses and staff of SMH. A special Thank You to the Hospice House. We can never express how much your staff and organization helped us through this difficult time!
