Clara L. "Lou" Yohe Clara L. "Lou" Yohe 87 of Harrisburg died Monday, June 7, 2021 at her home. Lou was born in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Hildebrand. She graduated from Biglerville High School in 1952. Attended Millersville College and Philadelphia College of the Bible and graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1957, with a degree in Elementary Education, where she met her future husband, Ted Yohe in her senior year. She was a member of the Linglestown Life United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking and sewing. Lou married Ted (Theodore) Yohe in August of 1957. She taught kindergarten and first grade in Shepherdstown, Shippensburg and Lewistown, where her husband Ted pastored United Methodist Churches. She worked faithfully beside Ted for those 42 years of active ministry. her greatest desire was to make her Lord Jesus Christ real to all to whom she ministered, fulfilling what she believed was her gift of helps and service. She was known as Grandma Lou, Miss Lou, Aunt Lou to the many persons she gave herself to help and assist through the years of her life. Lou is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rev. Theodore "Ted" Yohe; her daughter, Deborah C. (Carl) McMorran of Hampton, NH; her son, Douglas C. (Vicki) Yohe of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Lori, Christopher, Carolyn and Johanna; one great grandson; her sister, Ann McBee of Hagerstown, MD; her brother, C. Edgar Hildebrand of Santa Fe, NM. A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1 P.M. at Linglestown Life United Methodist Church, 1430 N. Mountain Rd., Harrisburg. The Service will be Livestreamed at VIMEO.com/LinglestownLife . Memorial Contributions may be made to Bethesda Mission's Women's Center Building Fund, P.O.
