Sally Gregg Hanahan - Sally Edith Case Gregg entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. Sally was born on January 31, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She graduated in 1956 from William Moultrie High School. She married John Benjamin Gregg of Cleveland, TN, on August 29, 1958 She was preceded in death by her parents, George Dewey Case, Sr. and Sallie (Fields) Case; elder brothers, George, Jr. and Gilbert Case; and an older sister, Shirley Lynes. She leaves behind, her eternal love, her husband of 62 plus years, John; children, Richard (Robin) Gregg of Goose Creek, SC, Ellen Wagner (Dr. Spencer) of Sumter, SC, and Allison (Doug) Williams of Katy, TX; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was a faithful lifelong member of member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various positions in the church including being the music director and chorister for over 50 years. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved music. Sally loves the family she left behind in addition to countless friends and is beloved by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, 843-797-2222. Friends and family are invited to visit briefly with the family immediate following the service at graveside.
