MARILYN KAY ASHLEY
ASHLEY, MARILYN KAY Wyoming, MI Marilyn Kay Ashley, age 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 2, 2021. Marilyn retired from nursing after 30+ years of service at St. Mary's Hospital, and was an active member of Oakdale Park Christian Reformed Church. She enjoyed traveling and had a love for all animals. Her parents, Allen and Beatrice Ashley, preceded her in death, along with her infant brother, Terry; and her lifelong friend of 52 years, Linda Klutman. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friend Linda's family, Laurie Klutman, Aimee Hillman, Chad (Jennifer) Klutman; Dennis Klutman; and Sophia Hillman and Gabe Klutman, whom she loved like her own grandchildren; as well as her friends and neighbors. The family will greet friends on Friday, April 9, from 10 - 11 am at Oakdale Park Christian Reformed Church, 961 Temple St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am, with Rev. James Jones officiating. Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Oakdale Park CRC or the Humane Society of West Michigan.
