Alice Virginia Potter
Alice Virginia Potter, 82, of Wauseon passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, in Toledo, Ohio. Alice was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Hudson, Mich., to the late Elwood and Eunice (Beck) Larned. Alice graduated from Wauseon High School. Prior to retirement, she worked at the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center of Henry County for more than 20 years. Alice was an active member at Church of the Master in Wauseon, where she was greatly involved in the United Methodist Women's group and served as a longtime delegate to the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. Surviving Alice is her son, Mark Potter of Archbold; grandson, Josh Potter of Wauseon; granddaughter, Shelby Potter; granddaughter, Natasha Potter; granddaughter, Amanda (Chris) Asplin; and great-grandson, Aiden Hill. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Potter. A memorial service for Alice will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Church of the Master, with Pastor Ben Sheaffer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Ottokee Cemetery. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Church of the Master in Wauseon or to the charity of the donor's choice.
