KING, Theresa Theresa Anne Cangemi King, beloved Nonna and resident of Canton, TX passed after a brief illness on February 20, 2021 at the age of 70. Theresa is survived by her husband of 47 years, David King Jr. of Canton, her children and grandchildren Aaron, Holly, Ty and Ella King of New Braunfels; Bryan, Rebecca, Grace, and Coleman Clemons of Salado; and Josh, Christal, Lathan, Casen, and Easton King of New Braunfels. She will also be loved and missed by her 6 brothers and sisters: Jo Marie, Vince, Michael, Yvonne, Jack and Karen; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Marvelle Cangemi. Theresa was born on January 24, 1951 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Bishop Dunne High School in 1969 and Stephen F. Austin University in 1973. On June 23, 1973, she married David. She raised her three children and spent over 20 years as a teacher with Martins Mill ISD, mostly in fifth grade. Her faith and family were the most important parts of her life. Theresa was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed photography and loved to read. She liked to be outdoors gardening, landscaping, or getting exercise. She loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on February 24th, 2021 at Eubanks Funeral Home in Canton, Texas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10am on February 25th, 2021 at Lakeside Baptist church in Canton, Texas. A gravesite burial will follow at approx. 2pm at White Church Cemetery in Blooming Grove, Texas. Bro. Mark Moore will officiate.
