Freda C. (Wilder) Finlay
Finlay FREDA C. (WILDER) FINLAY February 20, 1935 February 11, 2021 Freda Finlay passed away peacefully in the arms of the Lord on February 11, 2021. She was 85 years old. Freda was born in Pasco, WA on February 20, 1935 to Ray Wilder and Alma (Radspinner) Wilder (deceased). She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David L. Finlay, three nephews and one niece as well as many great nephews and great nieces. She is preceded in death by her three brothers; Warren Wilder, Rolland Wilder and Claude Wilder and her sister, Harriet Browning. Freda was a teacher and loved teaching. She moved to Colorado Springs with her family when she was quite young. She and her husband Dave lived in Alaska for 41 years. She loved Alaska and especially the loons. They moved back to Colorado Springs about 8 years ago. Freda was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held at First Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs on February 26 at 11am. Reception will follow at 2350 Caddie Ct., Colorado Springs.
