Mitreon "Mitch" Eyatta Marquille Brumfield, born July 13, 1995, departed his earthly life for his heavenly home on February 8, 2021. Mitch is survived by his mother, Yvette Brumfield; father, Mitchell Walker and step-mom, Kasey McGee; brothers, Marco Brumfield, Damon Thomas and Kase Walker; sisters, Valishea Blackburn and Kelsey, Kelly, and Khole Walker. He was a loving grandson to his grandmothers, Francis Brumfield and Betty Weaver, and grandfather, Otis Smith. Mitch leaves his love of life and infectious smile to his precious daughter, Am Bella Drea Rose. Mitch was a loving nephew to his aunts, Gloria Brumfield, Tracy Ramsey, Lillie Tillison and Sparkle Brumfield and uncles, Malcom, Mike, and Marlon Brumfield. He is also survived by his adopted mom and pops, Christy and Ken Owenby; brothers, Chandler and Benjamin Owenby; uncle, Michael Lagasse and aunt, Nicole Lagasse. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Brumfield and aunts, Ella Chatman and Alice Chatman and a host of relatives and friends. Mitch was a friend to all. He will be remembered always for his kind heart, infectious smile and his energetic love of life! Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Greater Starlight Baptist Church, 521 W. 28th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 PM until service time.
