John Ardaugh John "Jack" Ardaugh, age 62, of Manhattan passed on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Survived by his loving sons Kevin (Lauren) Ardaugh and John Ardaugh, his siblings Barbara (Thomas) Bolek, Daniel (Cheryl) Ardaugh, Susan (John) Walsh and Carol (David) Mark, his nieces and nephews; Anna (Max) Glen, Christopher (Jennifer) Bolek, Eileen (Brent) Mattox, Katherine Ardaugh, Brian (Jill) Ardaugh, Patrick (Becky) Walsh, Daniel (Lauren) Walsh, Kathryn (Steve) Hunt, Ryan Mark, Emily Mark, thirteen great nieces and great nephews and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his parents William and Beverly (nee Kreimeier) Ardaugh. Jack was a graduate of Lincoln Way High School, Illinois State University and John Marshall Law School class of 1985. He was an accomplished attorney in the Joliet area, former partner at Spesia, Ayers, and Ardaugh and President of the Will County Bar Association from 2006-2007. Jack was an incredibly social individual and loved planning events of every kind. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and was a pioneer of the Manhattan Irish Fest. He was instrumental in making that particular event the high-class Irish celebration that it is today. Jack was the happiest if he could show you something you had never seen, take you somewhere you had never been or tell you something you didn't know. You'll know Jack is in the house when the Notre Dame fight song starts to play. Visitation for Jack will be Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Funeral service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St., Manhattan for 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. All CDC rules will apply. Please visit our website for instructions to view Jack's funeral virtually. Jack will be buried with his mother and father at St. Joseph Cemetery, Manhattan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's name to St. Joseph School, P.O. Box 70, Manhattan, IL 60442 would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S. State St., Manhattan, IL 60442, 815-478-3321, www.forsythegouldfh.com
