In memory of
Wong Lee Morris
Wong Lee Morris was born March 2, 1975 to the parents of the late Sidney and Ruby Morris. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was educated in the New Orleans Public School System and graduated from Walter L. Cohen High School. During his journey here on earth Wong worked as a self-employed contractor and was a member of the Prince of Wales second line organization. He was such a humble, fun, loving and kind person. Wong was always willing to help both family and friends any way possible even, if it was just with a listening ear. On December 22, 2020, God decided Wong work was no longer needed here on earth so he dispatched his angels to receive him into heaven to be with him. Wong was preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Ruby Morris; his brother Troy Cooper, his sister Sandy Cooper, maternal and paternal grandparents, four(4) aunts, two(2) uncles and four(4)nephews. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his brothers, Calvin, Gary, Gregory (Darlene), Nathaniel, Christopher, and Ron Cooper, Sidney Morris and Wendell Gray. Sisters; Susan, Shelita and Buffy Cooper, Sakinah Morris, Valerie Myles, Gwendolyn Ford, Myrna Matthews (James), Janice Charles and Step Mother Francis Morris. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:00am at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 8:30am. Interment in Green Street Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending is required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing. Gatherings are limited (No Exceptions). Professional Services Entrusted to Majestic Mortuary Service, Inc. (504) 523-5872.
