In memory of
Patsy Kostishak
Kostishak, Patsy Patsy Kostishak, age 90 of Rockford, passed away peacefully and entered the Church Triumphant on Friday, January 8, 2021. Patsy was born on May 14, 1930 to Henry and Clara (Therault) Kroll in Highland Park, MI. On September 2, 1950, she married George Kostishak and they were married until his death in 2017. Patsy was a remarkable woman, a dedicated wife, and a wonderful mother to her family. In addition to running her husband's real estate appraisal service, she managed to raise six kids, fix breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day, stay on a limited budget and yet put all six kids through college debt free. Patsy was an avid player of games, particularly bridge and Scrabble. No one knows her track record but surely the wins were exponentially greater than the losses. Patsy enjoyed tennis, golf, sewing, needlepoint, and laughing with her friends. She had a zest for life, traveling the world after she and George retired. She always seemed up for a trip, especially ones involving her family. Patsy is survived by her children, Ann Kostishak, Peter (Michelle) Kostishak, Paul (Diane) Kostishak, Dr. John (Dawn) Kosta, Tom Kostishak, Mary (Joe) Page; her 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kostishak and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Kostishak. A memorial mass and burial will take place in Ann Arbor later in the Spring of 2021. Memorial contributions may be given in Patsy's name to: Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, 2805 S Industrial Hwy Suite 100, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 https://www.h4h.org/
