Glennis (nee White) Cozart
Glennis J. Cozart (nee White), 83, a resident of LaGrange for the past 40 years and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a lengthy illness. She was born November 18, 1936 in Bald Knob, West Virginia to Hartford and Oma Grathel White (nee Perry). Glennis was a department leader of Marshallan Industries of Cleveland for many years. When she moved to Lorain County, she worked for Inservco of LaGrange and retired after working several years. Glennis loved cooking for her family and spending time with her family and grandkids. She also enjoyed family reunions, playing cards, and working puzzles. Mrs. Cozart is survived by her son, Gary (Sue) Cozart of LaGrange; grandsons Robert (Kristen) Cozart of Willowick and Michael (Chelsea) Cozart of Brooklyn Heights and a great-grandchild on the way; brother, Robert Green (Lennah) of Sylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert (1990); sister, Glenna Cantley; brothers Daniel Green, James Richard White, Russell White, Rondal White; and her parents. Friends may call 10:30am – 12:30pm Friday, March 13 at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. The funeral service will begin at 12:30pm with Reverend Scott Skeens, Pastor of Sheffield Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow at the River Road Cemetery in LaGrange.
