Lorraine Pollok Meyers CANANDAIGUA - Lorraine (Arnold) Pollok Meyers, age 92, passed away on Oct. 4, 2019. She is survived by five children, Susan Banovic (David Phillips), Kristi Horwitz, Robert (Danielle) Pollok, Jane Pollok and Barbara (Michael) McGarel; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and stepsister, Deborah (Steve) Paul. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert W. Pollok in 1978; second husband, Howard W. Meyers in 2019; brother, George Arnold; and stepbrother, Eugene Arnold. Lorraine was a dedicated farmer's wife and operated Rob-Lor Holstein Dairy Farm in Canandaigua, for many years, with her first husband Robert. After he passed, she met Howard "Red" Meyers at Finger Lakes Chorale at Finger Lakes Community College, where she loved singing and playing the piano. They were married in 1984 and lived in the Bristol Hills. Lorraine and Red enjoyed traveling, hunting and visiting with friends and relatives. She retired from Rochester Products where she was an administrative assistant. Lorraine was active in the Republican party. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always interested in her family's activities. Friends may call tomorrow (Thursday) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
