She was very active in the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Grand Rapids where she served in many capacities, including the president. She loved all forms of music and spent many an hour dancing with Jack. They especially enjoyed their times at Dick's Lakeside Inn dancing to the Middleton Trio. She also was an avid card player and loved hosting her friends for card parties. She followed in her mother's tradition of sending cards to acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries and many other life events, earning her the title "Card Lady". She was an excellent care giver to many people, including her parents, her mother in law, and her husband Jack. She will be remembered by her family for her love and caring nature as well her fondness for anything chocolate. The family would like to express their appreciation to Edison Christian Life Services for their exceptional care of Mom.
