In memory of
Denise Aquila
(nee Simmons), age 52, passed away October 3, 2019. Denise Aquila, (age 52), peacefully passed away on October 3, 2019. She was a loving mother to Ashley Aquila and a friend to many. As a dedicated social worker, she worked to improve the lives of children who suffered with mental health issues resulting from abuse. She also was a poet and writer who did all she could to promote understanding and healing through her written word. She lived her life independently, in truth and valiantly trying to right the hurts the world around her. Ashley will always remember her mother saying, "Dream Sweet", instead of "Sweet Dreams" and it is Ashley's dearest wish that she may do the same... Dream sweet Denise in your final rest. A sunset gathering for friends will held to celebrate Denise's life at Mentor Headlands beach at the first pavilion at 5:30 PM on Saturday, October 19th, 2019.
