Norma Suika, 94 Retired administrative assistant for Goldman Sachs Norma Suika, 94, a Bulls Head resident since 1970, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, at Canal Winchester Rehabilitation Center in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Born Monday, July 27, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Norma was the daughter of the late Henry and Clara Parisi. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester, who passed in 1986. She was employed by Goldman Sachs & Co. as an administrative assistant for 23 years. She retired in 2001. Norma enjoyed traveling, going to the Metropolitan Opera and to the theaters in New York City to see shows. She enjoyed watching old movies, playing mahjongg and taking trips to Atlantic City, N.J. Norma was a fan of the New York Yankees. Above all else, Norma enjoyed being with her family. She was incredibly proud of her sons. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, William Lewis and Stephen Lewis; her daughters-in-law, Karen and Peggy Lewis; five grandchildren, Stephen, Victoria, Gregory, Nicole and Elizabeth, and four great-grandchildren, Terry, Cecilia, Hannah, and Scott. Norma was also predeceased by her son, Richard, in 2013, and daughter-in-law, Margaret. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at St. Clare Church. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, N.J.
