Carol A. Dodd-Ciriaco
Carol A. Dodd-Ciriaco, 57 Enjoyed spending time with family and friends Carol A. Dodd-Ciriaco, 57, passed peacefully at home on Sept. 23, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Originally from Middletown, N.Y., Carol settled in Eltingville 34 years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, close family and friends. After suffering the loss of her only child, David Schreier Jr. in 2005, Carol found the will to press on and became an avid and well recognized Treasure Hunter. She has been published several times in "American Digger Magazine" for her findings and contributions. Carol leaves behind her husband, Steven, her sisters, Eleanor (Micki) Minutolo (Joseph), Sandra Marchetti (Luigi) and Cheryl Daley. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bill Williams and Albert "Rusty" Dodd. Funeral arrangements will include visitation at Scarpaci Funeral Home of Staten Island on Monday and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested by her husband, Steven, to be distributed to Carol's favorite charitable organizations.
