Mary Joe (Moore) Deal Evansville - Mary Jo (Moore) Deal, age 85, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 3:37 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at her home. Mary Jo was born January 12, 1934, in Evansville, IN, to Louis and Helen (Koenig) Moore. She graduated from Central High School in 1952. Mary Joe retired in 1994 from Colonial Bakery, now Bimbo Bakery, after 30 years. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed cross-stich, and was active in Al-Anon for 34 years. Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Donald Eugene Deal; daughters, Teresa Kinman (Dale) and Rhonda Williams (Chuck); sons, Bill Beyer (Sally) and Mark Beyer (Sherry); sisters, Jennie Lee, Karen, Shirley, and Peggy; brother, Billy; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers. The family would like to say a special thank you to Amy Biggs, Mary Jo's caregiver for 2 ½ years, for being herself. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Ted Tempel officiating. Entombment will be in Locust Hill Mausoleum. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, 701 North Weinbach Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 or Vanderburgh Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
