William Timothy "Bill" Carr Chrisney, IN - William Timothy "Bill" Carr, 91, of Chrisney, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Newburgh Health Care of Newburgh, Indiana. Bill was born in Middletown, Indiana on October 2, 1927 to the late Davis and Mollie (Blackwood) Carr. Bill served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Chrisney, Indiana. Bill had worked at General Electric in Tell City, Indiana and was also a farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and pets. He enjoyed gardening and operating his tractor and bulldozer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carroll Rae Carr; Son, Kirk Lee Carr; Brother, Bert Carr. Bill is survived by his children, Becky Gold and her husband, Bob of Newburgh, IN; Melinda Johnson and her husband, Charles of Jasper, IN; Grandchildren, Megan Gold, Tim Gold, Haleigh Hopf, Molly Johnson, Emilie Schepers, Chloe Johnson, K.C. Carr, Tasha Tucker, John Marshall Dough and his great-grandchildren. Service is 1 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home-Youngblood Chapel at 36 E. Market St. Chrisney, IN 47611. Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery Zion's U.C.C. with the Rockport American Legion Post 254 conducting military honors. Visitation is from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, September 9, 2019 and from 11 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home in Chrisney. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
