Theresa Jane (Mann) Forster Evansville, Ind. - Theresa Jane (Mann) Forster, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Heritage Center. Theresa was born in Mount Vernon, Indiana on May 23, 1928 to the late Edward Jacob and Octavia Josephine (Kuhn) Mann. She graduated as valedictorian of Poseyville High School and attended Lockyear Business College. Theresa worked for Sinclair Oil Company in Evansville and enjoyed volunteering with the Adult Literacy Project. She was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and a current member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Theresa was a recipient of the Brute Award and was a past-president of the Desk and Derrick Club, the St. Theresa Parish Council and the SERRA Club. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Forster of Portland, OR; son, Eugene Lawrence Forster (Lucy Logsdon) of Norris City, IL; sister, Emily Stevick (Gene) of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, George Mann (Virginia) of Libertyville, IL; and her grandchildren, Lucy Jane Forster and Lora Grace Forster. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Forster in 2003; her parents; and by her sister, Mary Stillwell. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N. Stockwell Rd., Evansville, IN 47715 with Father Zach Etienne celebrating. Theresa was buried next to her husband at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 9:00 AM until Mass time at the church on Saturday.
