Rosemary S. Morton Beloved wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother and great-grandmother, longtime Sayreville resident Rosemary S. Morton, 82, formerly of Sayreville, N.J., peacefully passed away on Aug. 8, 2019, at The Villages in Florida, with her loving family at her side. Born and raised in Roxbury, Mass., Rosemary was a longtime resident of Sayreville before moving down to Florida. She was a proud homemaker, always ensuring that her family was well taken care of. Before leaving the New Jersey area, Mrs. Morton was a devout parishioner of St. Bernadette's R.C. Church in Parlin, N.J. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward, her son, Gary, and her parents, Joseph and Rosimena Cardoza. Surviving are her loving children, Victor Morton and his wife, Bonnie Seich, of North Carolina, Scott Morton and Glenn Morton, both of Sayreville; her seven adoring grandchildren, Victor Jr., Dean, Kelsie, Jennifer, Danielle, Christopher, and Michael; and her seven dear great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Amanda, Avery, Silas, Carter and Nico. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Friday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Bernadette's R.C. Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill.
