MILLERSBURG- John N. Miller, age 85, passed away August 11, 2019, at his home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 20, 1934 in Jackson Twp., son of the late John L. and Zema (Sheetz) Miller. He enjoyed farming and was a retired swine and crop farmer and a former Jackson Township Supervisor. He attended Millers Church in Halifax. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth A. (Zimmerman) Miller; Son, John E. (Wendy) Miller, Halifax; 2 Daughters, Darlene M. Miller, and Debra (Kenneth) Tannery, all of Millersburg; 3 Brothers, Robert L. Miller, Roy A. Miller and Daniel E. Miller; Sister, Amanda M. Miller, all of Halifax; 4 Grandchildren, John B Miller, Heidi D. Weaver, Michael J. Tannery and Morgan J. Tannery; 2 Great Grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jocelyn Weaver. There will be a visitation held on August 15, 2019 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Elizabethville from 10-11 AM. Services will start at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ray Hackett officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Elizabethville is handling the arrangements.
