Lorriane Allen Gorman
Gorman, Lorriane Allen Lorriane Allen Gorman, born on July 12, 1933 passed away on Aug. 5, 2019 at his home in Earp, CA. Allen was born in Marmarth, North Dakota to Winslow and Lillian Gorman and married his wife Darline Rodgers on April 3, 1953. The couple and their daughter, Carol, moved to San Francisco, California in 1954 where he worked and added two more children, Lonnie and Suzanne. Allen also helped raise his young sister-in-law Sharon Gilbert and brother-in-law Danny Rodgers. In 1962, he moved the family to Southern California where he ran a successful truck maintenance business until he retired in 1993. Moving to Earp, CA, he enjoyed traveling with his wife until her passing in 2002. In 2010, he married Dorothy Doyle and spent his final years traveling and playing golf. Allen will be remembered for his big heart, easily recognizable laugh and insatiable appetite for cookies. He leaves behind a wife, Dorothy, daughter Carol (Bob) Bumstead, son Lonnie (Jean) Gorman and daughter Suzanne (Ed) Nichols. Step-children: Virginia (Joe) Garcia, Terryl (Steve) Lane and Patty (Darrell) Scott. Five grandchildren: Staci, Jami, Michael, Katie and Allen. Six great grandchildren: Jadyn, Cole, Branden, Lucy, Hazel and Millie. One brother, Gene Gorman, and many nieces, nephews and more family and friends than anyone could truly count. His services will be held at Hilgenfeld Mortuary in Anaheim at 11:30 a.m. followed by a burial at Anaheim Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10th.
