She was filled with strength and integrity and was passionate about caring for others. Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by the father of her children, William "Tommy" Burgess; and her father, Willard Evans. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grandview Medical Center's Cardiac ICU for their devoted, continued support and care. The doctors and nursing staff were exceptional and their help will never be forgotten. Online condolences to the family at: www.annistonmemorial.com.
