Peter Wojcik
Peter F. Wojcik July 7, 2019 Peter F. Wojcik, 92, passed away on Sunday. He served in the United States Navy during WW II and retired in 1990 from Lipe Rollway, where he was a machinist, and Union President for several years. Peter was an avid fisherman, but his greatest love was spending quality time with his family during holidays, vacations and picnics. He is predeceased by his son Peter (2011). He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary and his daughters and sons: Mary (Tony) Iannettone, Dorothy (Bob) Sayre; Ed (Patty) Wojcik and Paul Wojcik; daughters-in-law, Joanne Wojcik and Michelle Sawyer (Wojcik). Also, survived by 13 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Casimir, and nieces and nephews. Friends may call 4-7 PM Thursday at the Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home, 1320 West Genesee Street in Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Friday at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Ave. in Syracuse. Burial: Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
