Stanley Bara Beloved father and grandfather, Sons of Poland former president Stanley Bara, 90, of Clark, N.J., passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, with his family by his side. Stanley was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Lutcza, Poland. He was a beloved father and grandfather. Stanley was a past president and an active member of the Sons of Poland fraternal organization. He was employed by the Elizabeth Board of Education. After that, Stanley was employed with the Vulcan Company in Elizabeth, N.J., for 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Genowefa "Bilas" Bara, and his three brothers. He was also predeceased by his sister in Poland. Stanley is survived by his children, Mary and her husband, Jan, of Sayreville, N.J., Walter and Tracy Bara of Linden, N.J., and Diane and William Carlucci of Clark; his two sisters, Sophie Bara of Linden and Maria of Poland; his brother, Adam and his wife, Sophie, of Manalapan, N.J. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Victoria, Jennifer, Mark, Stephen, Jessica and Julianna. A visitation for Stanley will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave., Linden, N.J. 07036. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Saint Adalbert Church, 250 E Jersey Street, Elizabeth, N.J. 07206. Interment will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Route 1 North, Linden, N.J. 07036. A burial will occur at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1000 E Edgar Rd, Linden, N.J. 07036.
