Steve Neumann Evansville, IN - Samuel Stephen Neumann, 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on October 26, 1952, in Evansville, to the late Samuel and Helen Neumann. Steve graduated from Mater Dei High School and served in the Indiana National Guard in the 1970s. He worked at Ball Plastics before buying and operating Kwik Stop Liquors at Columbia and Third Avenue for 30 years. He also developed and put into production in 1998 his own barbecue sauces, Steve's Oink-n-Squeel Original and Squeelbanero, and stayed busy stocking local markets with his products. Steve is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joan Cameron Neumann; his sons Stephen Andrew of Schererville, IN, and Zachary Thomas of Evansville. Also, daughter Mindy Hedrick and grandson Shane Hedrick of Evansville.
