DAVID WALKER
David A. Walker Jan. 6, 1937 - May 15, 2019 OKLAHOMA CITY David A. Walker, 82, of Oklahoma City, passed away on May 15, 2019. David was born in Oklahoma City on Jan. 6, 1937. He graduated from John Marshall High School and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. He later received his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University and practiced law for over 40 years. David married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Smith, on Sept. 13, 1964. David is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Michelle Robertson and spouse John, of Philadelphia; son, Mark Walker and spouse Tony, of Seattle; and grandchildren, Walker, Matthew, and Coleman. David served as a navigator in the Air Force, and he enjoyed flying throughout his life. He was a faithful member of Church of the Servant, the Encounters Sunday School group as well as the choir. He was a pianist, philanthropist and volunteer at Mercy hospital. He enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. He loved visiting his children and grandchildren on the East and West Coasts. He was an early adapter who always enjoyed the newest technology and gadgets. He was devoted husband, father, grandfather, and good friend to many, many people. We want to thank all the people who helped and supported him, with special thanks to Henry Covington, his friend and caregiver. The Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. June 29, 2019, at Church of the Servant.
