Ida E. Kistner
Ida E. Kistner Nanuet - Ida E. Kistner (nee Tveit) of Nanuet, NY, 93 years old, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2019. Ida was born on August 29, 1925 in Young, Saskatchewan, Canada to Nellie and Sven Tveit. She eventually moved to New York and was proud to become an American citizen. She married the love of her life, Harold, on Valentine's Day 1960. Ida worked at Lederle Laboratories and retired in 1987. She was very active and loved traveling from Nanuet to Haverstraw to church every Sunday sitting and chatting over coffee afterwards. She is survived by her 15 loving nieces and nephews and her many great- & great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Harold and her 7 loving siblings. She will be missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends at Central Presbyterian Church, 89 Hudson Avenue, Haverstraw, NY 10927 at a Gathering on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 10:00am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00am and a luncheon buffet also to follow.
